Brazilian playmaker Elano has declared that he’d like to return to Santos as he’s free without a club now.
Elano starred for Indian Super League side Chennaiyin FC recently and was the top-scorer of the tournament. Elano played for Santos between 2001 and 2004 before leaving for Europe, and returned to the Vila Belmiro in 2011. According to Globo Esporte, Elano met Robinho in Brazil and he talked about a potential return. He was quoted: “I talked with Robinho about returning. My will to play for Santos is too big. I’m free and at Santos, it will be even more special. It’s my team in Brazil. I’m open to talk.”
