Grêmio wants to release midfielder Edinho before the start of the pre-season.
Edinho is not in the 2015 plans of coach Luiz Felipe Scolari and the club have received polls regarding the availability of the player. As mentioned in Globo Esporte, Grêmio executive director Rui Costa has confirmed that Edinho is wanted by other clubs, but they’re yet to receive an official proposal. Rui Costa told Rádio Gaúcha: "For the player [Edinho], we have two or three clubs interested but there’s no official proposal, yet."
Edinho has a contract at the end of the year.
