Sport Recife are set to begin negotians with Cruzeiro over the signing of midfielder Élber.
The 22 year old started his career at Cruzeiro in 2011 but spent last season on loan at Coritiba where he made 17 appearances. It is believed Cruzeiro would be open to the possibility of a transfer.
Sport Recife sporting director Nei Pandolfo revealed the club’s interest in the player in a recent interview.
“It is true (Sport’s contact with Elber). But there are other players on our list. There is interest on our part and the chance of him coming too. But we will only disclose it all next week.”
