Young Atlético Mineiro forward Carlos has been cut from Brazil’s U20 squad training at Granja Comary for the upcoming South American Youth Championship.
Coach Alexandre Gallo removed him from the squad after he complained that there’s pain in his right thigh during Brazil’s training, and expressed his disappointment. CBF are yet to reveal the severity of Carlos’ injury or the expected recovery period. A replacement hasn’t been made, either.
Uruguay will host the U20 South American Youth Championship from January 14th to February 7th.
