26-year-old right-back Marcos Rocha, who’s currently enjoying one of the best phases of his career at Atlético Mineiro, is close to renewing his contract.
Marcos Rocha has a contract at Galo that expire in 2016, but the new contract will keep him there until 2018. His agent Luciano Brustolini told Superesportes MG: “We were approached by the club to talk about a contract extension and we’ll have everything settled soon. We see this as a recognition of his performances in recent years.”
His agent doesn’t rule out a transfer, though. Porto are one of the clubs with an interest in taking him if they don’t keep Danilo for much longer.
