Cruzeiro director Alexandre Mattos says there’s no intention from Real Madrid to buy Lucas Silva this winter.
Carlo Ancelotti had confirmed that he would wait on the fitness of his midfielders before taking a decision on Lucas Silva, but now negotiations have cooled. Mattos told Rádio Itatiaia: “We had four meetings and talked with the director of Real Madrid a dozen times. There’s absolutely no issue regarding the transfer window, but if they don’t intend to buy him this winter, then we have no urgency, either. When they offered less than €15 million, I told this to the president Gilvan, but he wouldn’t accept it.”
