Midfielder Ricardo Goulart is confident staying at Cruzeiro will help him earn international recognition.
The 23 year-old was a key part of the side that won the 2014 Brasileirão and after being handed his maiden Seleção call up earlier this year, Goulart believes he is best served remaining with Cruzeiro.
“My plan is to stay with Cruzeiro,” he said, as reported by website SA2015.
“Playing for Cruzeiro helped me get called up. After a busy season it’s now time to take a break and prepare for next year. If I’m playing well then I hope Dunga will select me for the Copa América.”
