Brazilian striker José Carlos Toffolo is set to move to Mexican club Cruz Azul ahead of their Club World Cup campaign.
The striker who is also known as Alemão is due to take part in a medical in the next few hours before putting pen to paper on a new contract.
“José Carlos Toffolo, also known as Alemão, will strengthen the club significantly for next season,” said a statement on the official Cruz Azul website.
Alemão started his career at Santos before becoming somewhat of a journeyman striker over the past five years. During that time he has played for nine different teams and will be hoping his new club becomes a more permanent home.
