Diego Tardelli has suggested that he could leave Atlético Mineiro in the near future.

The forward, who is contracted with the Galo until December 2016, was their top scorer in the 2014 Brasileirão with ten goals in 24 appearances and also impressed when representing Brazil.

As a result of his efforts throughout the calendar year, Tardelli claims that other clubs have taken note of him and concedes that he may be tempted to move on.

“It was a good year for me, with goals for Brazil and Atlético Mineiro,” he said, as reported by website Copa América Chile 2015. “I think I achieved the targets I set for 2014.

“I am receiving a lot of messages to stay with Atlético Mineiro, but there are some very good proposals coming to me.

“I need to think about my future. I will probably have a decision by the end of this week.”

Atlético Mineiro signed Tardelli from Al-Gharafa SC for a reported fee of €5.25 million in February 2013. This is the second spell the 29 year-old has had with the Galāo da Massa, having previously been with them between January 2009 and March 2011.

Tardelli has won five major honours across those two stints, including the 2013 Copa Libertadores, while he’s also lifted trophies with São Paulo, PSV, Flamengo and Al-Gharafa SC.
