Atlético Mineiro president Daniel Nepomuceno has revealed he is already preparing for next season before the final game of the current campaign.
The main aims of the club are to keep hold of star striker Diego Tardelli and negotiate a new contract with defensive midfielder Leandro Donize. Talks have already begun.
“Leandro Donizete is a priority,” said Nepomuceno,” As for Tardelli, we will keep him. He will only come at a high price.”
Nepomuceno also stated that Atlético are in talks with lots of new players and will try to finalise deals quickly.
Atlético Mineiro won the Recopa Sudamericana and Copa do Brasil this year and are currently sixth in Brasileiro.
