Roma Head Coach Rudi Garcia has conceded his unsure when defender Leandro Castan will return.
The 28 year-old Brazil international, who was signed from Corinthians in 2012, has been found to have a brain malformation following an MRI scan.
With the injury considered to be fairly unique, Garcia admits it is hard to predict how long Castan will be out for.
“I’m not a doctor,” he stated, as reported by Football Italia.
“There are professionals who will evaluate him. We need to leave him alone, but it’s clear, he’s a Roma player.
“We are all behind Leo, after his surgery in December he will return to being a Roma player.
“Now we must leave him alone, he’s a warrior he will soon be back at 200 per cent.”
