Chelsea’s Diego Costa and Querétaro forward Camilo Sanvezzo have been nominated for the 2014 FIFA Puskás Award.

The Brazilian-born duo will compete with eight other players for the accolade, which is awarded for scoring the best goal during 2013/14 season.

Both Costa and Camilo’s goals came when they were representing their previous employees. The latter’s was his strike for Vancouver Whitecaps in their 2-2 draw with Portland Timbers, while Costa’s is an overhead kick he scored in Atlético de Madrid’s 7-0 win over Getafe.
