Chelsea playmaker Willian has said that he is taking nothing for granted after playing a starring role in Brazil’s 4-0 win over Turkey on Thursday.
The attacking midfielder helped himself to a goal in Istanbul and dovetailed with Neymar throughout, but the former Shakhtar Donetsk star said that he needs to maintain his performance levels if he is to stay in the national side.
He told SporTV: ‘I am guaranteed nothing in the team here. I need to keep working for my position and my place in the team.
‘I think we scored some good goals and took advantage of the situation. I have been growing with each game with the team and I am aware that I can evolve further and this is important.’
