Galatasaray defender Alex Telles has admitted he is frustrated at his lack of playing time.

The 21 year-old has made just two appearances in the Spor Toto Süper Lig so far this season, with Tarık Çamdal and sometimes veteran Hakan Balta preferred at left full-back.

Despite his disappointment at not featuring more, Telles insists he respects Head Coach Cesare Prandelli’s selections and remains confident that he will eventually impress sufficiently to earn international recognition.

“It is not easy not playing every game,” he said, as reported by Turkish-Football.

“I would love to play every game but I have to respect Prandelli’s decisions.

“My goal is to play for the Brazil national team, anything can happen in football so why not, my biggest dream is to play for Brazil.”
