Defender Miranda has singled out Atlético de Madrid team-mate Arda Turan as a potential threat ahead of Brazil’s friendly with Turkey.

The 29 year-old has played alongside the midfielder for Atlético since 2011 and though he feels Brazil have improved defensively since the appointment of Dunga, he still remains wary of Arda.

“Arda is a great player, capable of making the difference,” said Miranda, as reported by Turkish-Football.

“We have to take precautions against a player like Arda and we know we are in for a tough game tomorrow.

“We are a team who focuses on defending a lot more now. In times gone by Brazil was renowned for attacking based football but we had problems in defence and that is what we are trying to solve.

“We have become a far more defensive side since the appointment of Dunga.”
