Chelsea playmaker Willian has talked up the predatory instincts of Shakhtar Donetsk"s Luiz Adriano ahead of Brazil"s upcoming friendlies.

Adriano is the top scorer in this season"s Champions League, having plundered nine goals in four games, and the Shakhatar forward was rewarded with a call-up to the Selecao side by Dunga for the games against Turkey and Austria.

Atletico Mineiro striker Diego Tardelli made an impression last time out as he scored both goals in a 2-0 win over fierce rivals Argentina in China last month, but Willian thinks that Adriano is more of a traditional centre-forward.

The Chelsea star said: ‘I played with Luiz Adriano in Ukraine and he is a little different to Diego Tardelli.

‘Adriano likes to stay in the area more often and he is more of a [traditional] striker, although he likes to move a lot. Tardelli usually moves more outside the box."

Brazil play Turkey on Wednesday before a trip to Austria next week.
