Former Brazil international Adriano has announced that he is likely to sign for Ligue 2 side Le Havre.
The 32 year-old, who was capped 48 times between 2000 and 2010, has been without a club since leaving Atlético Paranaense in April, but is determined to keep playing and is now seemingly set to resume his career in France.
“99 percent, I will play at Le Havre,” he said, as reported by Telefoot. “I had some problems in the past, I made some mistakes, but the joy I feel with a ball on a football pitch is stronger than anything else.
I don’t care where I play, as long as I’m playing.”
Le Havre are currently 6th in Ligue 2, five points adrift of leaders Dijon FCO.
