Doria has claimed that he is unconcerned by his situation at Marseille – despite the fact that he still awaits his debut for the club.

The young defender joined OM in the summer, but is yet to play a game for the Ligue 1 side, who are currently top of the table in France.

Marseille coach Marcelo Bielsa rang the changes for his side’s game against Rennes in the Coupe de la Ligue in midweek, but Doria was once again left out of the side.

He told the club’s official website: ‘I am not concerned about my situation. It happens to any player during their career.

‘I have settled in very well, I am learning and looking forward to playing. I prepare myself to be ready at every opportunity. I am ready to do my job when the opportunity arises.’
