Orlando City SC manager Adrian Heath has praised the incoming Major League Soccer franchise’s Designated Player Kaká.

The Brazil international, who is currently on loan at São Paulo, will join up with Orlando in January ahead of their inaugural MLS season and Heath is delighted with both his professionalism and enthusiasm.

“He has been great,” he told the Independent. “He is a world footballer of the year, speaks two or three languages, Christian boy – he is the epitome of what a professional should be. The camera comes on and his smile lights up.

“It is funny, my phone will go and ‘Ricky’ will come on. Seven years after I arrived in America with a pipe dream, Kaká, the former world player of the year, is texting me: ‘Coach, how is it going?’”
