Brasileiro leaders Cruzeiro take on eighth placed Santos in the first semi-final of the 2014 Copa Do Brasil.

The second semi-final, a clash between current cup champions Flemengo and Atlético Mineiro is bound to be another high quality game, and also kicks off this evening (22:00 UTC−3) as the quest for domestic glory comes to a head.

Santos coach Enderson Moreira should take heart from the fact that Cruzeiro only went through against ABC on away goals in the last round, and have stuttered in Serie A of late, but the leaders are expected to be at full strength; the likes of Marcelo Moreno, Everton Riberio and Ricardo Goulart are all likely to be selected.

Meanwhile, over at the Maracanã, Flemengo will be looking to make the most of their first leg home advantage despite struggling somewhat with it in the league this season against third place Atlético Mineiro.

Mineiro are a side in good form, and will no doubt be desperate for victory, having never won the Copa Do Brasil since it’s incision in 1989.
