José Mourinho has confirmed that star striker Diego Costa will be available to face Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.

The news will no doubt delight Mourinho after Costa’s outstanding start to life at Stamford Bridge, where he has already managed nine goals in just seven league appearances.

The good news for the Chelsea manager did not end there, as he also revealed that Brazilian midfielder Ramires should also be fit to face Harry Redknapp’s QPR side after just over a month on the sidelines.

“If there are no other complications, Diego and Ramires will be available to face QPR at the weekend.” Said Mourinho, as reported by Globo. The Portuguese head coach then went on to bemoan Costa’s international commitments for keeping him out for longer than first expected.

“He aggravated the problem because he played twice in three days and was not with us.”
