The defensive partnership of David Luiz and Thiago Silva can lead Paris Saint-Germain to Champions League glory, according to AC Milan"s Alex.
Alex left Parc des Princes in the summer after PSG shelled out around £50m for Luiz from Chelsea, and the Milan centre-back has backed his Brazilian compatriots to form a bedrock that helps the Ligue 1 champions to a triumph in Europe"s premier competition.
Alex told beIn Sport: ‘David Luiz and Thiago Silva are the best defenders in the world and Paris want to win the Champions League.
‘I think that combining the two defenders of the Brazil national team is a great idea. David Luiz is better than me, I have an advantage in the air but for me [Luiz and Silva] are the best defenders in the world."
