Filipe Luís does not believe his Chelsea team-mates need any “special advice” to cope with Manchester United forward Radamel Falcao.
The Blues travel to Old Trafford to face United on Sunday and though Filipe was team-mates with Falcao for three years at Atlético de Madrid, he is confident his team-mates can stifle the Colombia international without his help.
“Will I give my team-mates any special advice on how to stop him? No,” he told the Evening Standard. “Our team is prepared for anything, not only Falcao. Manchester United have a lot of dangerous players. We have to be prepared.
“But Falcao is the kind of player that never wants to stop scoring, he has a lot of ambition to be the best striker. I think Manchester United have made a great acquisition and he is going to be an important player in England.”
