Midfielder Hernanes is confident Internazionale are on the right track after their 2-2 with Napoli.
Walter Mazzarri’s side had to come from behind twice to secure a point at San Siro and Hernanes, who netted the decisive equaliser, believes this show of character could finally kick-start Inter’s season.
“After going behind twice, we managed to bring home a point. It’s not enough, but it is a sign that the team is taking shape,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“I can feel the season is beginning from this moment for us. Were we on the edge of a precipice? Yes, absolutely. We could not get it wrong today.
“We tried everything in the first half and couldn’t break through, as Napoli are a good team too. The run from the back is co-ordinated with the wingers, you get there at the right agreed-upon moment.”
