Santos forward Robinho believes Brazil are on the right path as they work towards winning the 2018 World Cup.
The 30 year-old was part of the side that beat Japan 4-0 in a friendly on Tuesday and while he admits it was a tough game, he sees it as another step towards eventual success in Russia.
“It was a difficult game, people find that Japan are weak but they are not. They are a strong team. They run very hard and attack,” he said, as reported by GOAL.
“We’re improving. What we want is to win the World Cup in Russia, but there is a long way ahead with many important competitions to play. Right now the squad are just trying to make the most of our opportunities.”
