Neymar has noted that Head Coach Dunga told his side that the best way to show Japan respect was by beating them in Tuesday’s friendly.

The Seleção ran out 4-0 winners at Singapore’s National Stadium and Neymar, who scored all four goals, is pleased that the team took on board Dunga’s advice.

“He told us the best way to show respect for our opponents is to go out and defeat them, which we did,” he said, as reported by Football Espana.

“I was looking to score goals, not for any individual success but to help my teammates and the Brazilian team.”
