Veteran defender Alex has admitted he’s “never trained so much” since joining Milan.

The 32 year-old, who was signed from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, concedes he’s working harder than ever with the Rossoneri, but is delighted to have joined one of Europe’s biggest clubs.

“I am tired, but happy,” the former Chelsea man has told Tuttosport today.

“My goal was to arrive at a big club like Milan, which has its own history and is known all over the world.

“I knew full well that I would have to work much harder than in the past.

Because in Italy, both tactically and physically, there is greater attention to detail on everything.

“This means that you work harder both tactically and physically. I’ve never trained so much! Inzaghi, despite being young, has an incredible desire to win.”
