Internazionale defender Yuto Nagatomo has insisted Japan must play as a team if they are stifle Brazil.
The Samurai Blue face the Seleção at Singapore’s National Stadium on Tuesday and Nagatomo concedes only a collective effort will give Japan a chance of securing a result.
“As Brazil have some top-level players, it’s vital we play well individually, not to mention harmoniously as a team,” he said, as reported by GOAL.
“Whenever we show them our weakness, they will definitely attack that point. So it’s essential we make a move and approach first.”
