Brazil

Jefferson – 7.5 – Made some important saves and was largely very clean with his handling.

Danilo7.5 – Very assured defensively and always willing to push forward.

Miranda7 – Made one mistake in the second half, but quickly rectified it with a smart recovery tackle. Was impressive.

David Luiz6.5 – Made a few position errors and one particularly rash challenge in the first half, but generally fairly solid.

Filipe Luís6.5 – Got a little overrun at times down his side, though strong defensively and got forward well. Perhaps, should have scored.

Luiz Gustavo6.5 – Sat very deep with Elias, particularly in the second half, and was quietly effective.

Elias 6.5 – Showed his great athletic abilities and gave the midfield a more dynamic edge. His persisent hounding of the referee, however, was unnecessary.

Oscar7 – Played a key role in both goals and worked hard both with and without the ball.

Neymar7 – Gave Federico Fernández some real problems with his direct running and was often fouled when getting into full flight. Strong performance regardless.

Diego Tardelli7.5 – Took his goals well, particularly the first, and showed Brazil are best with a more mobile forward, who can create space for others. May be best option for the short-term.
