Brazilian forward Nenê is eager to impress with Hellas Verona.
The 31 year-old joined on a free transfer from Cagliari in July and despite having to adapt to an unfamiliar setup under Head Coach Andrea Mandorlini, he is optimistic that he can make an impact.
“They welcomed me in the best way,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “I found an amazing group, we all want to do well.
“When I was at Cagliari, I played in a different way, however, I can play with any other striker, even with Toni. I need to be ready and try to do my best.
“My debut after one month was not easy, but the coach gave me lots of trust. I am happy and I want to give 100% for the team.”
