Guangzhou Evergrande forward Elkeson could be set for a call up to the Brazil national team, according to reports.

Respected Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Seleção Head Coach Dunga is following the 25 year-old closely and may well included him in future squads.

In the past, Elkeson has been called up just once for Brazil – the second leg of the 2011 Superclásico de las Américas against Argentina – but didn’t feature.

His move to Guangzhou Evergrande in December 2012 from Botafogo seemingly took him out of international reckoning, but his return of 60 goals in 74 appearances has caught the eye of Dunga, who is expected to take a closer look ahead of the 2015 Copa América.
