São Paulo loanee Kaká has insisted he feels honoured to be recalled to the Brazil national team.
The 32 year-old has been added to the squad for this month’s friendlies against Argentina and Japan by Head Coach Dunga due to injuries.
Kaká was last selected for Brazil in March 2013 and the Orlando City owned play-maker is pleased to be back in the fold.
“I see A Seleção Brasileira as a reward for what I do with my club,” he told FIFA.com.
“My aim here is to play regularly and to play well, and if the technical staff think that I’m the kind of player they’re looking for, then I’ll be very happy to come in and do a job.
“And if they think that I don’t fit in any more, then my objective will just be the same: to keep playing and to perform at a high level here in São Paulo.”
