GK: Rogério Ceni [São Paulo] – The 41 year-old stopper saved four shots on target and scored from the penalty spot to end Marcelo Grohe’s run of 800 minutes without conceding.
RB: Húdson [São Paulo] – A midfielder by trade, Húdson filled in admirably at right full-back, making five tackles and seven interceptions. Just his second start of the season.
CB: Anderson Martins [Corinthians] – The El Jaish SC-owned defender scored the opener in Corinthians 3-0 win over Sport Recife and made six effective clearances.
CB: Paulo Miranda [São Paulo] – The 26 year-old was faultless alongside Edson Silva.
LB: Eugenio Mena [Santos] – Not always a regular this season, but the Chile international gave a strong showing as Santos kept just their second clean sheet in their last five matches.
RM: Marcinho [Vitória] – The veteran netted a brace to help Vitória to a vital 2-1 win over fellow strugglers Botafogo.
CM: Cléber Santana [Criciúma] – The former Atlético de Madrid midfielder assisted Souza for Criciúma’s second goal and made more key passes [3] than any other player.
CM: Thiago Mendes [Goiás] – The 22 year-old assisted Ramon for the only goal in Goiás’s 1-0 win over Figueirense and made 51 passes at an accuracy of 90%.
LM: Marquinhos [Cruzeiro] – The attacking midfielder netted Cruzeiro’s second goal and attempted the most dribbles for A Raposa.
FW: Henrique [Palmeiras] – Henrique now has 12 goals in 21 starts after netting hat-trick in Palmeiras’ 4-2 win over Chapecoense
FW: Souza [Criciúma] – The veteran scored two and assisted Rafael Pereira for the other, as Criciúma beat Atlético Mineiro 3-1. He last netted in May.
