Group A

Veteran left full-back Ricardinho played 90 minutes as Malmö FF beat Olympiacos 2-0. 

In the group’s other game, defender Miranda also had the full 90 minutes in Atlético Madrid’s 1-0 win over Juventus, while Guilherme Siqueira was used as a late substitute.

Group B

Brazil international Philippe Coutinho started in Liverpool’s 1-0 defeat at Basel. The 22 year-old was replaced after 70 minutes by Adam Lallana.

At the Ludogorets Arena, midfielder Marcelinho netted to give Ludogorets Razgrad a shock 1-0 lead against Real Madrid. The 30 year-old was eventually substituted on 70 minutes, with fellow Brazilian Wanderson his replacement.

For Real Madrid, Marcelo played the whole match and assisted Karim Benzema for the winner, while Pepe was an unused substitute.

Group C

Defender Wendell played 90 minutes in Bayer Leverkusen’s 3-1 win against Benfica. Derley, Talisca, Luisão, Jardel, Lima and Júlio César all featured for the visitors.

In the early kick-off, Hulk played the full match as Zenit drew 0-0 with Monaco. Right full-back Fabinho also had 90 minutes for the visitors, while Wallace was an unused substitute.

Group D

Alex Telles and Felipe Melo played the whole match as Galatasaray lost 4-1 at Arsenal.
