Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho praised Brazilian Oscar after he scored for the second consecutive match to help the Blues remain at the top of the Premier League table.

The 23-year-old scored in the seventh minute after Willian had picked him out for his first league goal of the campaign.

His Portuguese boss praised his displa and believes the connection he is developing with Cesc Fabregas and Nemanja Matic is key.

Mourinho told chelseafc.com: “Oscar played well against Bolton, today I played him again because I think he needs the confidence that comes with matches.

“His performance was good; he was in important areas of our game, the connection between him, Matic and Fabregas was good, the connection between him and the attacking players was good.”

Oscar will hope he has now reestablished his place in the starting team after he was dropped for two matches earlier in the season.
