Lucas Moura and Marquinhos scored for Paris Saint-Germain at Caen tonight to earn the Ligue 1 champions a victory that relieves the pressure on boss Laurent Blanc.

The Paris outfit have been held to draws in their three previous matches and weren’t top of the table going into Wednesday’s clash.

However, goals from two of their young Brazilians secured a vital victory that wil go some way to easing the pressure on Blanc.

Lucas scored a trademark goal midway through the first period to open the scoring for the Ligue 1 side.

The Brazilian skipped past two opponents on the edge of the penalty area before slamming the ball home from 10-yards-out.

It remained 1-0 for the rest of the half before Marquinhos scored to seal the points.

The former Roma ace powered a header towards goal, and though it got a deflection, it found its way into the net to give PSG a two-goal cushion.

Marquinhos nearly added a second afterwards but headed wide before Lucas left the field to a standing ovation, to show the importance the two Brazilians had on the match.
