Premier League giants Manchester United and Liverpool are both eyeing up a move for Barcelona defender Dani Alves.

The current contract of the Brazilian runs out in the summer and he can speak with clubs in January regarding a move, as he has already confirmed he won’t be signing a new deal at the Camp Nou.

Therefore Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique made decide to cash in on the 31-year-old in January.

Alves is said to be looking for one last challenge, according to the Daily Express, and is interested in a move to the Premier League.

Express state that both Louis van Gaal and Brendan Rodgers are looking to bring the Brazilian to the Premier League, but would prefer to sign him on a free transfer.

Alves does have a number of options available to him though, with Italian sides Juventus and AC Milan in the race for his signature, whilst Paris Saint-Germain also remain an option for the Barcelona ace.
