Barcelona defender Douglas is looking to team-mate Daniel Alves and World Cup winner Cafu as reference points.
The 24 year-old, who was signed from São Paulo in August, is hoping to learn from all the players around him, but singled out his fellow countrymen as two full-backs he’d like to follow.
“You learn a bit from everybody but Dani Alves had the most skill,” he said, as reported by Football Espana. “Cafu was like a world class athlete and you could see that when he was Brazil captain.
“Everyone gives you a good example to follow and you must learn from them all. Right now I’m looking for a place at Barça.
“I’m here to win trophies and make the crowd happy.”
