Former Corinthians coach Tite has said he cannot understand why Dunga has been given the Brazil manager"s job for a second time.

The 2012 FIFA World Club Cup winner said he was surprised at the choice of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) and claimed he was confident he would be taking charge of the Seleção Brasileira. Now, he has confirmed an interest in working with a Brazilian club again, and revealed he has already held preliminary discussions with a few, according to Brazilian sports daily Lance!

The 62-year-old has not worked since leaving an extremely successful stint at Corinthians in december 2013. With the club, he won the 2011 Campeonato Brasileiro, the 2012 Copa Libertadores and the world crown later that same year.

In an interview with ESPN Brasil, Tite explained that he had been preparing for an offer that would never arrive.

"I was prepared. It is not a question of being the best, but at that moment [after leaving Corinthians] my work was very strong," he said.

The esteemed coach also said he had been in Europe studying some of the world"s biggest clubs to aid his preparation, and said that after the choice of Dunga he "didn"t understand what went through the head of Marin [José Maria Marin, president of the CBF].

"I don"t know what criteria was used. I don"t know what passed through the head of Marco Polo, of Marinm" he said.
