Flamengo forward Eduardo has admitted he thought playing in the Brasileirão “would be easy.”
The 31 year-old had never played in Brazil before joining the Mengão on a free transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk in July and notes he had misconceptions about what standard of football he would be involved in.
“I thought it would be easy, but once I arrived I found it was totally different to what I had imagined,” he told FIFA.com.
“The Brazilian league is very difficult, very competitive. Looks can be deceiving. There are a lot of skilful players here and everyone is comfortable on the ball.”
