The Barcelona philosophy has changed under new manager Luis Enrique, according to Brazilian Adriano.
The 29-year-old has been undergoing medical attention throughout the summer after it was discovered that he had a heart problem.
That issue has now been resolved and he has been impressed with the way Enrique has given Barcelona more confidence.
Inside Spanish Football quoted the Brazilian, he said: “The philosophy has changed a lot under Luis Enrique.
“He has plenty of character and that’s been good for us.
“He is always on at us, demanding more, and that gives us confidence. Luis Enrique knows the club well, and that’s a good thing too.”
Barcelona have started the season in good form and Adriano has been impressed with how quickly the team has adjusted to life under Enrique.
The Brazilian said: “The year has started well. The transitions have been quick and are making the team much better.
“This season we’re keen to do the best we can do, and that’s play football well.”
