Brazilian midfielder Casemiro is confident Real Madrid will have another strong season.
The youngster, who left the La Liga outfit to join Porto this summer, also does not expect Los Merengues’ summer transfer dealings to have a detrimental effect on their campaign.
“The level remains the same because last year Madrid had great players. The level remains high,” he told Marca.
“I don’t think they’ve changed much despite the signings.
“Madrid always has a winning mentality. But I’m thinking of Porto.
“It wasn’t easy to leave Madrid. We’re talking about the biggest team in the world. But I’m happy at Porto because the level of players is very high.”
