Brazil midfielder Sandro completed a transfer deadline day move to Queens Park Rangers yesterday, ending his four-year association with Tottenham Hotspur.

The 25-year-old moved to White Hart Lane from Brazilian outfit Internacional in 2010 and has since become a huge fan favourite at the north London club.

The midfielder, know as ‘The Beast’, transferred to QPR for an undisclosed fee the west London club confirmed yesterday evening less than an hour before the transfer window shut.

Sandro signs a three-year contract at Loftus Road and links up again with former Spurs boss Harry Redknapp.

Although the Brazil international is hugely popular amongst Tottenham supporters, his appearances over the past 18 months have been restricted due to numerous injuries.

Last season the Brazilian made just ten starts for Spurs in the Premier League alongside seven substitute appearances as he battled numerous injury problems.

Sandro will hope his move to QPR will coincide with an upturn in his fitness concerns.
