Queens Park Rangers are interested in Tottenham Hotspur and Brazil midfielder Sandro, according to Sky Sports.

Today is the final day of the transfer window in England, and several clubs are rushing to close deals before the window closes at 11PM tonight.

Sandro arrived at White Hart Lane from Brazilian club Internacional, and played under QPR boss Harry Redknapp whilst he was in charge at Tottenham. The 25-year-old won the Copa Libertadores with Inter before moving to the Premier League, where he was a key part of Redknapp’s rival of the North London outfit.

The Brazilian has however since fallen down the pecking order at the former Champions League club. He had a public falling out with former boss Tim Sherwood, and has also found the going tough under new coach Mauricio Pochettino.

He has made over 100 appearances for Spurs, but, if he is to regain his place in the Brazil squad, is likely to need to move on to pastures new.
