Brazilian Dodô believes it was his destiny to end up at the San Siro with Internazionale as discussed his two-year loan move to the Nerazzurri.

The 22-year-old moved from Roma after failing to establish himself in the first team during his two years with the Rome outfit.

When the defender spoke to Gazzetta dello Sport, he discussed his move and what he is learning under new coach Walter Mazzarri.

Football Italia quoted Dodô, he said: “It was destiny that sooner or later I would come here.

“Evidently there were certain decisions that were made.

“Garcia? If he hadn’t believed in me he wouldn’t have played me so often at the Giallorossi.”

When discussing his new club, the Brazilian didn’t mention the Scudetto as a target, yet.

Dodô said: “What is Mazzarri teaching me? How to get into the box, something I wasn’t used to.

“Objectives? We’re not talking about the Scudetto, we need to prepare for the start of Serie A and welcome our fans for the return match against Stjarnan.”
