Neymar cleared to return for this evening's Barcelona match
Brazil star Neymar has been given the green light to play for Barcelona in tonight's game with Mexican team Leon at the Camp Nou, marking his return to action after the back injury which ended his World Cup campaign.
The 22 year-old former Santos forward suffered a broken vertebrae following a stern challenge from Colombia's Juan Zuniga in the quarter finals of that tournament, rendering him crocked until now.
The Joan Gamper Tournament, which is in effect a friendly match, takes place this evening at the home of the Catalan giants and is the official welcoming party to the club's returning stars and new recruits.
Barcelona are expected to play Neymar at some point in the game, althoughnit is expected that he will play no more than 20 minutes on his return after six weeks out.
Also anticipated on the pitch are fellow Brazilians Daniel Alves, who has been linked with a move away from the club, and Rafinha, who returns to Barca after a season's loan at Celta Vigo.
