David Luiz disappointed in Brandao after head butt
PSG defender David Luiz has said that countryman Brandao has set a bad example to the watching public after the Bastia forward was caught headbutting Thiago Motta when the teams met yesterday.
In a 2-0 win for the defending French champions, Brandao was given his marching orders for attacking his opponent in the tunnel after the game and Luiz has suggested that the former Marseille striker receives an appropriate ban.
He told the waiting media after the game: "We have a great job in the world to show a good example inside and outside the pitch."
"I think many kids in the world want to be us so they know about everything. That is not part of football. I don't agree with this. Sometimes on the pitch you are more vulnerable with something and bad things get said, but that's normal in football."
"But when you wait for someone outside the pitch to say a bad thing, I think that's not acceptable."
