Young Brazil forward Léo Baptistão is close to completing a return to former club Rayo Vallecano.
The 21-year-old Atlético Madrid attacker moved to his current club from Rayo in 2013 but is set to return on a loan deal.
Inside Spanish Football reported news from Marca that insists the loan agreement is close to completion.
Atlético won’t charge a fee for the loan as Baptistão demanded a move to Rayo and because of that insistence his current club are happy for him to leave on a loan, in the hope that he recaptures his previous best form.
The Brazilian was a major hit at Rayo before following his progression through the youth team and enjoyed a successful 2012/13 campaign.
Although the loan isn’t confirmed yet, only small details need to be ironed out before the deal can be completed and all parties involved will hope the move is a success.
