Sport Recife bring in Ibson and Diego Souza on loan until the end of 2014
Sport Recife have loaned Ibson and Diego Souza until the end of the Brazilian domestic season, the midfield pair joining the club on the back of consecutive defeats after a fine start to the league campaign.
Bologna's Ibson and Souza of Ukranian outfit Metalist Kharkiv have been brought in by head coach Eduardo Baptista to bolster the team currently sitting in eigth place in the Brasileirao, and the pair are expected to make the squad for their game with Atletico Paranaense this coming Sunday.
Souza made a 2005 switch to Portuguese giants Benfica, but soon moved back to Brazil to join Palmeiras, where he picked up his two national caps and won the Superclasico de las Americas.
Ibson, on the other hand, has never represented his country and spent seven years of his career in Europe with Bologna, Porto and Spartak Moscow.
