Selecao Head Coach Alexandre Gallo believes it will be difficult for Brazil to improve collectively.

The tactician, who is in charge of the Olympic squad, admits the only way to move forward is through a joint agreement, but understands that clubs have their own priorities.

“It’s difficult,” he said, as reported by FIFA.com. “We’ve had two technical meetings about the subject, but we can’t, and wouldn’t want to, tell the clubs what to do.

“Every club, and every state, has its own priorities. There they were able to divide the country into three regions, each of which is carefully observed. Our territory is much larger, so at youth level in Switzerland they don’t have as strong a bond with their clubs as our players do in Brazil.”
